The exhibition 'No Filter' is a video installation exploring the ways we see a female body and body hair in real life and the online reality. The concept was inspired by the story of Lady Godiva and Peeping Tom and also touches the topic of online and offline voyeurism and gaze.

The installation consisted of the main video work, video projections on the wall, embroidery paintings, sculptures, a soundscape and a performance on the opening night.

Performance 'Venus'

Performance during the opening. The audience was invited to assist me in wax shaving. For each stripe of wax, I invited an audience member to rip it off me.  The performance is about collective responsibility that  we carry when it comes to exhausting beauty standards.
'Venus' started with dance performance by Maria Tyminski that served as introduction and guiding of the audience to collective waxing.
